Open Letter to Jeremy Whiteley

by jennabulis | Jun 15, 2026 | Breaking Code Silence, Chelsea Filer, Jenna Bulis, Jeremy Whiteley, Katherine McNamara, Katie Mac, Lawsuit, Open Letter

Dear Mr. Whiteley, Well, here we are again. Despite years of evidence, documentation, and direct notice disproving these claims, I once again find myself responding to allegations that are fan fiction, not fact. Your attorneys have named me in Paragraph 28 of Whiteley...

About BCS Facts

BCS Facts was created to address rumors, false allegations and ongoing issues related to Breaking Code Silence. Jenna Bulis and Chelsea Filer share their experience as the original founders of the #breakingcodesilence movement and the power grabs, lawsuits, defamation and harassment that led to the eventual collapse of the organization. Despite these tragic events, the #breakingcodesilence movement survives and is embodied by the voices of the survivors of institutional child abuse.

While Jenna and Chelsea observe the right to free speech and their commitment to the truth, the offer for peace is always there. If Katherine McNamara and Jeremy Whiteley agree to take down their false allegations and defamatory websites, this site need not exist. The movement and the children that need protection and advocacy will always be more important than the drama.

About The Authors

Jenna Bulis is a mother, survivor, and advocate dedicated to exposing institutional child abuse and advancing accountability within the Troubled Teen Industry. As a founder of ICAPA Network and co-founder of the Breaking Code Silence movement, she has spent years supporting survivors, advocating for youth and fighting for legislative reform.

Chelsea Filer is as well a mother, survivor and youth advocate. She began her journey in the early days of the internet, around 2004, when the truth about the Troubled Teen Industry was difficult to find and survivors were scattered all over the world without validation of their experience. She set out to change that by creating forums, databases and websites like WWASPSurvivors.com to connect survivors and provide research information for parents looking into programs for teens. Over the last two decades Chelsea has dedicated herself to advocating for legislative change in the systems that protect children from abuse and seeks to pass federal legislation defining and prohibiting institutional child abuse. She is a founder of ICAPA Network and co-founder of the #breakingcodesilence movement.
